Need to know where to find 79-86 body parts.

Postby Blacksnake » Sat Mar 06, 2010 1:49 am

I might buy an 83 Stang. Lx front bumper which I do not like, I like the gt, salleen, ect. Any one know where to find these on the cheap...er? Or at all. Egay has a decent looking "kit" but I think it looks funny to have the bumper go lower than the rear and side skirts.

You really don't want to buy "cheap" body parts.
You will end up having fitment, finish, and longevity issues.
Stick with the name brand parts and maybe try to find a deal on what you want from an individual who is selling theirs for some reason.
Names I answer to:
Bob, Bobby, BG, Robert, Trojan Horse, TH, fordnu5, admin, and maybe a few others that I have forgotten or want to forget.

Well the deal fell through. Deals on ANY Mustang seem to be getting more and more rare. I was finding foxes for $1,500 or less. Mostly the 79-86. They were even good and running. The one I found was $1,300 with a 331? it was a 5.4 so whatever that is. Was even a manual. At the end He decided he wanted around $2,500 and I told him up front $1,500 was my limit. So, once again my seemingly endless search for a deal continues.

That happens most of the time.
If you can be patient enough the right deal will come along.
