Looks like leaky valve covers to me.
Try some new valve cover gaskets.
Get the ones with the metal core so they don't squeeze out from under the valve covers.
I always glue my valve cover gaskets to the valve cover with a good automotive gasket adhesive and wipe a thin layer of grease on the gasket side that touches the head.
That allows the gasket to move a bit during fastening down and during the expansion and contraction of the engines heating and cooling cycles.
Plus when/if you have to replace the gasket again, it is stuck to the most easily removed part.
While you have the valve covers off, be sure to check the intake gaskets, especially at the front and rear which are usually the most likely to leak.
The headers will not affect the head gaskets.
The factory exhaust on a lot of cars is tubular, just like aftermarket headers.
