Shelbyfest 2010 Hermann MO

Shelbyfest 2010 Hermann MO

Postby VaporDude » Tue Jan 26, 2010 1:11 pm

We know it is several months away but time does fly. We are in the final planning stages of Shelbyfest this year. Some of the activities will include a free concert at the Hermann Amphitheater on April 23rd with a performance by The Blues DeVille. This is a blues/rock type band and they are very good. Other activites will be of course the car show on Saturday April 24th followed by a cruise to the banquet. Sunday morning April 25th will be a send off breakfast. There will also be a couple of Mustang publishers, vendor exhibits, a how to clinic.

We have Donald Farr from Mustang Monthly magazine and Tom Shaw of Mustang Magazine coming to the show. The dyno is also lined up for those that would like to get their car on the dyno.

I will post more information as it develops but this is going to be one of the best gatherings of Mustangs in MO.

 Update about the dyno with prices when/if you can please.
If everything goes well with my shoulder operation, I just might be able to get my SC installed and get the engine tuned in time. :goodjob:

I'll get that price up when I get specific details on the pulls. I do know it will be $50 for 3 pulls but I am not sure if you can tune your own car between those runs.

I will be having shoulder surgery on 2/12 so it I hope to be up and operational by the time the show comes around. I have to be, I am the vendor manager for Shelbyfest.

Thanks Vapor Dude! :goodjob:
I hope to find out today when they will operate on my shoulder for sure.
What's really irritating me is that I have spent the last four months in therapy and eating painkillers like candy only to recently find out that it is damaged much worse than the first doctor thought, so now I'll have to go through all of that again. I kept telling the therapist and doctor that the therapy was causing me a lot more pain, but since it is a work comp injury I guess they thought I was just milking the cow. :veryangry:

I hate workmans comp and I will never use them if I can help it. I am using my private insurance company from work on my problem. All workmans comp does is make people have more pain for as long as they can. The good thing about my shoulder is it is my left one that I don't have to use to shift the car.
