Also, I recall having an easier time whipping 99-04GT's than I did S2000's in my WS6.

are you sure that isn't because you didn't see very many of them to begin with??![]()
I've ran my fair share of S2000's... they are quick, but nothing to sweat over.
So there!

got to say... I'm QUITE impressed.... throttle response was FAST, the shift throw is short, suspension was solid (came with a factory 2 point strut tower brace, mounts on top of the CC plates) exhaust note was VERY throaty for a factory system (I would say it sounds WAY better then the factory systems on the Camaro and Challenger... both have PISS for factory exhaust systems) the Brembo package was VERY nice... solid smooth breaking. Acceleration was AWESOME... 412 BHP and 3.73 gears really puts you in your seat!
Yeah, the 1st gear in the transmission is retarded. 3.66 I think. 3.66+3.73=mad gearing.
Speaking of seats :p the interior was really nice too! the seats really hold you in place, unlike the seats in my 2002 (been looking at some racing seats.... something to hold me in better) The car had the Microsoft SYNC system... works really well, and has a lot of really cool features. you link it with your cell and you have a in-car phone system that uses the car speakers and built in mic, if you get in an accident where the airbags are deployed it auto dials 911 on your phone, nav system is easy to work with, and it has USB and stereo in for your MP3 player. also... all these things are free, unlike the OnStar systems in GM where you have to pay for the service.
The interior on the mustang has exponentially improved with every iteration.
The did get rid of the glass top though... unfortunately :( I really liked that feature on the 2010s
IT's offered on the 2011 GT500's. It should come back for the 5.0
All in all, a VERY solid package... I can't afford a brand new car currently, but I would pick up a used one, no question ;p
