Tire Explosion Carnage!

Check this out. It will make you think twice about doing burnouts on old raggedy tires.

:shock2: Ain't it just!
I was shocked when they moved the camera around to the side.
It is a wonder that no one was hit by flying debris.

I have never understood the draw of burnout contests. They hold them here all summer...and encourage the use of crap tires...better chance they'll pop. I will say that at least they have them more or less caged so no one does get hit easily. That was sad......wonder if he won..

Couldn't have happened to a better car. I'd sure hate to see a Mustang get hurt like that. LOL

The draw is, tire smoke, loud pipes, squealing rubber, & a chance for carnage I suppose.
I don't know if he won, but the crowd sure got their money's worth.

That huge back glass sure does weaken the structure of the rear quarter panel.
+2 on it not being a Mustang, but he has my sympathy.
If that happened to my car I'd be just sick.

I see you put some "flash" in the Stang. :goodjob:

1 limited ability driver + 1 evidently too powerful truck = Total waste of truck. :wacky:
He hit the soft asphalt patches, the right side hooked, the left side didn't. :knockout:
Evidently someone with very little actual driving experience.

The patches in the pavement were easily visible and any driver with a bit of experience would know what might happen if you hit them spinning with any significant forward motion.
I'm glad he didn't get hurt, but my sympathies in that one lie with the truck.

Personally I love doing long smoky burnouts in the right place and time. :embarrassed:
I just can't afford to buy the tires required to be able to do them very often.

"What just happened? Did I pop a tire..." ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME KID!!!!! Get over yourself, you suck at driving, your being reckless, and you just wrecked your truck. Good job. :taunt1:

I agree TH, my sympathy is with the truck.
Not only did he just wreck his truck but when the cops show up (because he obviously can't just drive it away from the scene), he's gonna get a ticket on top of it. Talk about having a bad day.
He's lucky he didn't get hurt. As he passes the camera, you can clearly see he didn't have a seat belt on (white shirt, no black belt across it). Cars roll over all the time, and most of the time people without belts in them get jacked up. He really came out of that one MUCH better than he could have.
